There are "No Excuses" For Your Future
Hello Family,
I am going to teach through writing. I usually teach through video, but the Lord told me to do it in this method for this portion of scripture. It is a sensitive topic for many. It requires boldness of speech and love of Jesus in my heart for all, to teach this. This is also an act of obedience, as I am very sleepy writing this. I am planning to turn this into an audio recording at some point. Maybe even a video. It is up to my Abba Jehovah.
Romans 1:18-19:
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
In my other videos, I mentioned about what the wrath of God means and why He brings His wrath upon the earth. Sin of man is the reason for this, but also it is a war against the original enemy, Satan, the liar and prideful angel that fell from heaven to walk and prowl the earth. He is not a good thing to come up against, nor to interact with. He is the father of lies. His main theme is to, "Lie, Steal, Kill, and Destroy", and he somehow convinced a third of God's angelic hosts to join him in this act of defiance and perdition. He, and those who follow after his ways and doctrines will experience the same judgement:
Eternal judgement in the lake of fire for eternity with no rest, no forgiveness, no love, no joy, no peace, no God. His light and holiness is going to be so far from them, that they will be in complete darkness and sorrow, alongside the painful torture of their new eternal home, right alongside Satan and his demonic friends.
Does this sound fun, enjoyable, and interesting to you? Are you curious to know what that is like? Well a majority of humans who were made by our Creator God chose that route. Yes, they chose this path for themselves. They were not willing to submit to God, our Lord Jesus Christ, as their King and Savior. Which means they believed the dragon who is a liar, stealer, killer, and destroyer of man. (2 Corinthians 4:1-6)
Jesus, our God, says in His word that God our Father does not want any many to perish in the lake of fire, for an eternity. (2 Peter 3:1-9, John 3:15-18)
Father God wants all to go to heaven with Him, and have fellowship with Him for eternity. He wants His beloved Creation, "us", to be with Him and enjoy His company forever. (He is the creator of all things. Do you actually believe that from what you see here on earth that is good, sweet, and awesome is anything compared to what Father God in heaven will do for you in heaven, during the millennial kingdom, and in the the new heaven and earth, in the future? (Psalm 37, Revelation 19, 20, 21, Psalm 34)
Realize, Jesus is right at the door of earth, ready to call out for His bride (Titus 2:11-15, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), the True and Faithful Church body, that has been waiting for Him since the fall of man. Yes, even Adam and Eve will get to be there. They were told in the Garden of Eden that a Seed would be given (Genesis 3:14-15) to provide the atonement for the sin that took place there with them.
"15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
This is a wonderful promise that God gave us for our future. A plan of grace and mercy. Praise God that He is a faithful and loving God. Remember at the flood when He said:
"5Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent[d] of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." (Genesis 6:5-8)
Take a strong look at our God, our Heavenly Father of Love and Faithfulness. He is such a gracious, merciful, long-suffering God (Psalm 86:15). He is such a wonderful God that He searched the millions of people on the earth for one soul that He could save. The one person who was still keeping their eyes on their Father in heaven. Noah found grace because Noah believed that Jesus was coming to redeem them, somehow. The generations that led to Noah's existence was not that far off from Adam and Eve. Traditions and the knowledge of God from the Garden of Eden was being told by word of mouth, and I bet by words in a book. Noah was found with favor and grace. He was obedient to God and did the best he could to be faithful and love God through that obedience.
There is no way Noah wasn't sinful (Romans 3:9-26). He just had the correct heart that God was searching for. A repentant heart that knew that he (Noah) was not God (Isaiah 57:15-21). He had a heart which understood that God, our Creator and Almighty God was on the throne in heaven, watching all societies on earth. He knew God's heart (Psalm 103) and His name. Noah knew that there are consequences for sin. Did you ever wonder how he knew these things? What did the scripture say in Romans 1:18-19? God says, that He reveals your heart to you. He tells you what He expects. He tells you His laws and expectations. He tells you what is good and what is sinful.
"12For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel." (Romans 2:12-16)
This piece says that those who try to live by the law and those who don't know the law and yet are not taught these things by man, are both just as responsible. Why? Why is this so?
Well my friend, looking at verses 14-15, you will see that even non-Jewish people (Gentiles by the way) are just as knowledgeable of what God expects as any other Jew out there who knows Torah from beginning to end. Do they have a Christian brother telling them these things? Do they have a Jewish friend telling them these things? Not always. Yet, they are visited by God, they are given revelations, they have knowledge of good and evil enough to know what is good and not good. Do we have a better understanding of the verse now?
Romans 1, Verses 18-19 also reiterates the condition of man to the degree by which they choose to lie against the truth. They choose to ignore the truth that is set before them. Just as Romans 2:12-16 stated, they are held to the conditions of the law, whether they were taught them or not, because they have the law written on their hearts from birth. They have knowledge about these things as they grow up. It is their choice to turn from the good ways in which to walk, versus choosing the easy and terrible road that leads them to damnation.
Verse 20 and Genesis 1 speaks about how God created the universe and all things into existence by His words. In addition, they are a clear picture of the fact that God is the One Who made all of it. There is no way anyone else or anything else could have made this world so perfectly and ordained every tiny micro organism, every micro element, everything into existence and perfect function upon the earth and throughout the universe. The perfect placement of the planets and all large bodies of stars, including our sun testify to this truth (Read Job 38-41). Who, but our Elohim (God our Father in heaven, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Sprit of God)? There is no other God in existence. He is the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, and the End, the First and the Last (Revelation 22). He is the one who began this existence. The creation of the family dynamics speaks existence into the order of family ranks and responsibilities. There is God the Father. Our Daddy God who is Holy, Righteous, True, Gracious, and Merciful. He is the most loving God and Father anyone would and should ask for. He is real and in existence throughout our lives. There is no excuse for any man to say they didn't know. They are lying (if they say different) that they were never told.
Romans 1, Verse 21 says even though they know that He is the Elohim (Three in One, Trinity), that He is seen throughout creation, that He is the one who made all things, that they still chose to turn away from the truth before them, and believe the lie that Satan fed them. Therefore, they choose to believe in something that doesn't make any rational sense. Our God is a God of rational, calm, and perfect peace. He may bring consequences and wrath upon man, but He does it perfectly, and with the right amount of justice. He knows exactly the right thing to do for all of our menial and grandiose ideas, needs, and plans. He is the great planner of existence, into eternity and beyond.
I am glad He does this, and not I. When I live on my own strength, it is chaos and harder than it needs to be. when it is His will, He makes a way and brings peace and joy alongside somehow.
He is an awesome God and worthy to be praised and blessed always and forever(Revelation 19, Psalm 103, Psalm 95 ) . Amen.
