We Are Called to Fervent Love in Prayer and Supplication
This posting is to His glory and obedience to Him. Ezekiel 33
This is what the Lord Jesus had put on my heart. To His glory if anyone is turned back to Him in obedience or is encouraged in their walk with Him.
In these last days many will want to not know what is truly going on in the world. It is painful, hard, and frustrating. What can I do many will ask. Do I just hide and hope nothing happens to me? I am saved, so I am sure all will be much easier if I just act like it isn't so. This is the most concerning thought...I would rather not know because when they say there is something to worry about in the United States, nothing ever happens on our soil. All is what it has always been.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 12And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
16Rejoice always, 17pray without ceasing, 18in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19Do not quench the Spirit. 20Do not despise prophecies. 21Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22Abstain from every form of evil.
I want to stress the importance of prayer and supplication:
Philippians 4: 1-9, 14 1Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. 2I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life. 4Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5Let your [b]gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
14Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress.
In these scripture about prayer and supplication, I want to stress that you labor over with the Holy Spirit about what He calls you to do in these days.
The last verse, from chapter 4, verse 14 states something that is the most important point I believe Jesus wants all of His bride to understand.
All of us are called to a purpose.
To edify the body through discipleship and to give the gospel.
We do this through reading and seeking God in HIs living word, but we also do this through prayer, supplication, fellowship, and serving. All parts of one whole in which we are called to be servants of the One True and Living God.
Verse 14 is something to chew on and understand.
Background: Paul was going through quite a bit of persecution in his ministry. He was a willing vessel for the Lord to use for His kingdom. He was beaten, killed, and more. He did this for the sake of the gospel. He stood up for those who were weak in the Lord, and for those who needed the Lord Jesus as their Savior. The people of this book were faithful as a church to Jesus. The book itself is about the joy in all things...even suffering.
There is a point to this...know and understand that they were not with Paul when he was being beaten, verbally abused, and all else. They were with him in Spirit through prayer and supplication. They were with him to provide for his needs in his time of suffering through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit. In
Ephesians 4:1-5:
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Please notice that it speaks about one body of Christ. We are not separate. We are to walk together with the Spirit, with Jesus as the head. With this in mind...
How is it possible to put your head in the sand or live your life without willing to become hurt, saddened, angry, frustrated, uncomfortable, knowledgeable about truths that are very hard to take and understand...and still claim to pray fervently for those in those hard situations?
We need to know and understand, bleed in our hearts and weep for those who weep
Romans 12:9-21
9Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12rejoicing in hope, patien in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
How can you say you love and weep with those in Israel if you choose to throw yourself in the quiet room of ignorance to avoid feeling their sorrow and pain?
God listens to the prayers of His Saints, but more so to the liquid prayers of His saints. Do you think Jesus never wept over all of us and those who would fall away? Even though they didn't know Him, were not even born yet, and would choose evil over good? He loves every one of us that He made in His image. He died for all of us. The Holy Spirit feels pain as we do.
How can you say you love and understand, yet you refuse to open your eyes, ears, and mind to hear, see, and perceive the things that those in pain and suffering (those whom you are praying over mind you) are experiencing?
It is a hypocrite that says I love you, but refuses to listen to the heart and concerns of those that they claim to love. It is a hypocrite who says I care and I give my money, but refuses to cry and weep in pain to God as they labor over the information that floods the places like Amir Tsarfati's telegram page.
They refuse to listen and perceive the information on his channel, Jack Hibb's channel, JD Farag's sermons, End Times Headlines postings, Generation 2434's channel, Mark Henry Ministries, Jan Markel, Tom Hughes, James Kaddis, and the like.
They are willing to show you from the sources they are blessed to know, and are tasked with the expectation to share so you know and understand what Israel and others who experience atrocities go through.
Why would Paul in the early church say verse 14?
He said these things because we are called to feel and experience it because of our love for another.
We empathize as they call it. When we feel these things, it is when we have to die to the flesh, which wars against us feeling pain and suffering, when our senses are overwhelmed to have that fire and fuel ignited to pray truly fervent and Spirit led prayers before God Almighty.
I call all of those who refuse to acknowledge and hide under a rock like a coward, weak, and may I stress that you will be held accountable for your actions before an Almighty God who called you to holiness.
He called you to weep with those who weep.
He called you to agape love...no matter the cost of your time, comfort, and joy.
We are given joy and peace by God because we are His. You can weep and be in pain, yet still have joy and peace.
Philippians 4:6-7
6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Notice...prayer and supplication
Prayer and supplication for those outside of yourself, not just for yourself.
Pray with true fervent prayer and diligence.
Ask God to break your heart for Israel.
He will show you what you need to understand so you can truly be on your knees for a people who are too weak and need I say busy to sit still before our Heavenly Father.
We need to stand in the gap...
That is, as Moses, the account found in Exodus 17, raised his staff in fervent prayer, while Joshua and Israel was fighting voracious enemies, so to we are called to action....
lift up the rod of prayer and praise to our Father in Heaven.
Pray victory and peace for Israel.
Pray for Israel's salvation to come now.
God Bless You and Keep You. 💓
