Obedience and The Path to Romans (Romans 1:1-7)
Romans 1:1-7 Was Jesus Christ mentioned in the Old Testament Bible?
Hello Everyone. It's been a long time since I have posted an actual blog. This is going to be a quick and rough draft to explain my new move in the ministry I began in April. This ministry will be given in a visual and audio format, as well as in the form of this written/typed version. My heart has been completely into this ministry, but God had other ways in which to lead me.
It is important with your Christian walk to listen to the Holy Spirit, which dwells in you. Those who are Jesus Christ's family understand this message. If you don't understand, first and foremost, look at my page that explains my ministry. This place will help you understand what being "saved" means. It also will help with becoming indwelled with the Holy Spirit, which is necessary for knowing your gifts and the calling on your life. Here is the link, in case you would like an easy path to this:
I would like to explain that when I began the path to even get this far, I was taking it pretty slow. To teach the Word of God, is a huge undertaking. Paul explains this in James 3:
not many should want to teach the Word, as there is a stricter judgement to those who do so.
I have a healthy amount of fear (respect) about what teaching the Word means to my walk with the Lord. I will be chastised if I speak outside of His will. I also know that in 1 John 2:27:
it also states that the Holy Spirit will teach you and I what God the Father and Jesus our Lord are teaching us in the Bible.
I have a strong desire to give the gospel and to teach the Word. I love the Word of God. I can't get enough. I love to be in His presence and in order to do this, I not only need to do those precepts I describe in my postings, but also I need to be "obedient" to Him.
He called me to speak the truth of His Word, to exhort and teach. I can't be silent. I can't continue to hide because I am afraid of the consequences of a mistake. I know God the Father and Jesus our Lord and King love me. They love you too.
Why would a loving Father and loving Shepard allow me to be led astray, if my heart is to serve Him and love Him with all of my heart. I fail daily, but He is long-suffering and so merciful. I exhort all of you...get to work and do what He called you to. Do the Will of the Father and your King and Messiah, Jesus Christ.
The message they have been giving me, for us all is:
GET TO WORK! DO WHAT YOU ARE CALLED TO DO!
Works do not lead to salvation.
But... being stagnant and disobedient to your calling is dangerous and does not do what God calls all of us to do, being His children. Don't make the excuse that I know you are making to sit back and do nothing. Jesus suffered and died for you, in order for you to avoid Hell, and yet you have no gratitude towards Him or our Father in Heaven for such a loving and merciful Savior?!? Do you love those who are in your life?!? Do you wish to see those around you see the fate you avoided through faith and repentence?!?
These are some items I have been taught by Him to begin moving (I mean physically moving) forward in your walk with Him.
1. Give the gospel wherever you can. Matthew 28:16-20
2. Teach your kids and family what the Word teaches. (Remember, 1 JOhn 2:27 states that you are able to learn)
3. Fellowship (This is an expectation of God and necessary for the edification of the Saints) Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 4:7-15
4. Serve the body of Christ (if you have a disability, contact your pastor and he will help you find a ministry to be a part of )
With all of this being said, thank you for taking the time read this post and the others. I hope and look forward to you reading and watching more of these postings and videos. I really have a ache for those who believe they are saved and are not. Please, Paul tells us in Philipians 2:12-18:
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
This is my exhortation to you from God our Father in heaven. He is not willing that anyone is lost unknowingly. You have a choice to ignore Him or to serve Him. GET TO WORK!
James 2:14-26, Ephesians 2:8-10, James 4:13-17
May God bless you and keep you, May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. Amen.
